Finagle was founded 2675 years ago.
City
Capital of New Tronbaum.
Owned by Flink.
The windows of the public rooms look south towards Vergaantz
An after hours eating spot, this place is a favorite for the theater crowd.
A stadium seating 3000.
A concert hall, it seats 3200.
Sign outside reads: "Magic Items Evaluated at Rock Bottom Prices!"
Premptor may remind the players of Madge the manicurist. She appears to be a middle-aged woman, but is actually 321 years old at the time of play. She calls everybody "darling" or "sweetheart," and acts motherly to all. As a result of her professional contact with so much magical paraphernalia, she is particularly perceptive of mutations and items that have come from or through Earth.
She is a keen judge of character, but she often loans money to anybody who she judges will use it to spread (non-lethal) mischief. Although polite and homey almost to the point of saccharinity, she keeps a +3 mace in full view on a shelf behind the counter - it looks like it's there as decoration.
As may be guessed by her alignment and nature, she is fiercely anti-Vergaantz. However, several members of the Vergaantz embassy are deep in her debt. For these, her speciality is a Ring of Protection +2 with unusual properties -- first, the protection is not effective against New Tronbaum or Discordian functionaries, and second, it causes the bearer to get only half the sustenance from food, and one quarter the effect from alcohol and any potions. This results in their continued indebtedness, and one who stops wearing this ring and keeps up the same intake soon becomes an obese drunkard. (This reinforces the Veggie impression of Finagle being a hotbed of decadence.) The rings are crafted by a friend in the Discordian League.
Magic services:
Collateral can be almost anything of value; she favours magic novelty items.
She also specializes in "debt consolidation" to lift the burden of imminent bodily harm from her clientele. Many under this plan are food merchants and farmers, so she accepts food and services as her interest.

Instead of having a recognised signature or other mundane method of identification, most rulers in Zam, as well as others who bear great responsibility and power, are conferred with the Fistseal. This is what looks like a raised tattoo on the heel of the owner's hand. (Of course, one would have to look closely -- quite risky, considering the sort of person who would have one.) When this hand is balled into a fist, the seal is formed. The seal is struck with a motion similar to pounding on a table for more ale, however it is only very rarely tiggered accidentally. (The numerous tavern tables with such seals on them are that way on purpose, as royal endorsements.) Because of the nature of the magic and ceremony conferring the Fistseal (see below), saving throws versus it are made at -8.
Forms of fistseal:
Confer Fistseal
This spell/ceremony gives the recipient the Fistseal to use at will. Either many hundred ordinary people or several very powerful beings must be present (in body or spirit) for this spell to work. Also, if the previous owner still lives, that being's consent is required (with eight exceptions on Zam.) Normally, this is woven into the coronation (or similar) ceremony, with the ranking clergy and wizards presiding.

Founded two thousand years ago, Foldrol is Klodomuk's only coastal city. It is where Bartalt and Andrea found each other after the storming of Fastness Island.
Much of the city's prosperity is from being near Fastness Island. Many sailors spend their pay in the many drinking establishments.
City
A tavern and inn at the riverfront dating back to the Sea Peoples days, the building is of stone and of several periods - the original has been added to many times. The cuisine is superb and inexpensive. Specialties include salmon, flaming shish kebob, and a mutton stew which can restore 1d6-1 hit points once per day.(DM: Don't mention this recuperation, if it happens, until a while after the meal -- perhaps as the character passes through a doorway. Keep 'em guessing.)
The innkeeper is known as The Raker, however he is actually a White Water Boy. He keeps on friendly terms with the members of the local military, who get special service in a side room with its own bar. (This is merely customary, not a strict rule of the house.) His most famous personality quirk is his enthusiasm for torturing any rats or (animal) vermin found on the premises. (This is not performed anywhere near where sober civilians might be eating. And no, the critters never find their way into the food!) He also maintains Zam's greatest collection of broken swords, many of which he has displayed on the walls of the main room. He will pay half the original price of any sword broken in combat, with bonuses for ones which broke on dragons or giants. This is the only place in town that stocks Snugburro Stout and Rollerock Rye (both from Twystenshaut).
City
Capital of Flattheim.
Sea Peoples' eyes and ears inland. Mostly in coastal and river areas worldwide, also a large outpost in Frenkenford.
